As a book publisher and podcast producer, our mission is to shine a light on the experiences, wisdom, and humor that come with aging—celebrating those who deserve greater visibility and connection.
In the coming months, we will highlight the release of Fierce Voices: Women Reflecting on the Pleasures and Indignities of Aging and showcase our first 7 to 10 podcast episodes. We will share upcoming events where readers and listeners can meet the authors and join the conversation.
Our Flagship Project
DBFrankel Enterprises is dedicated to elevating powerful stories and authentic voices. Our flagship project, Fierce Voices: Women Reflecting on the Pleasures and Indignities of Aging, brings together the reflections of 37 remarkable women from across the United States. These contributors, all over the age of 75, share thoughtful, humorous, and deeply human insights on what it means to age with grace, grit, and good cheer.
The stories in the book explore themes such as the lifeline found in friendship, family, and laughter; the meaning of legacy; and the ongoing pursuit of agency and autonomy. Its result is a rich, honest celebration of growing older—one that highlights the pleasures just as much as the challenges.
Beyond the Book
To expand these conversations beyond the page, DBFrankel Enterprises is also producing a series of podcasts featuring interviews with many of the book’s contributors. Hosted by Ms. Frankel, these conversations bring new layers, anecdotes, and warmth to the themes explored in the book. Live author interviews at bookstores and other venues will also be offered as opportunities arise.
